OUTNUMBERED AND LOVING IT

Welcome to the Sanchez Family. We are a God loving, church going, unconditional loving, Army family of three wild and crazy boys and one 100 pound english bulldog, taking it one day at a time. I'm the mom, the only girl in the house, and the Queen. Hang on tight, it's sure to be a wild ride!

March pictures from California and Z's birthday

Dr. appointment and California update!

It has been a while since I have had a chance to update the blog. I had to wait until Cesar could set our computer up to be able to upload the pictures!

I went to the doctor on Thursday and everything still looks good. I really like the new doctor and we went and checked out the hospital and it looks nice too. They will give us a formal tour next Friday when I go back. I am already 2 cm dilated, but I stayed that way with Z for 2 weeks so I am not worried. I am sure I still have a little while.

We went to Disneyland yesterday and had a great time. It was really nice to be able to do something together before Zachary starts school. No stress, just a really nice family day.

The pictures are a mixture of the day before we left KY, Z's birthday, and some random shots of what we have been doing since we got here!

Chuck E. Cheese Pictures

Zachary's Birthday Party!

Today we had Zachary's 7th birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. It was crazy crowded there and of course the kids were out of control! They seemed to have a good time though. It was nice to be able to see everyone one last time until June when we will return to KY for a visit! I do beleive it will be my last party at Chuck's place, I am worn out and I thought having it somewhere else was supposed to be easier! I feel like someone beat me! I took some pictures of course! His actual birthday is Monday and my parents and sister will be down for lunch and to play for awhile, it will be the last time we will see them until June. It will be a bittersweet day for us. I of course included a picture of Bella and her latest bow! She is beautiful!

Pictures from March

Just catching up!

It seems like the time is flying around here. Only 6 more days until we fly! There is so much to be done. Cesar has only been home a little over a week and we have been so busy since he got home preparing to leave we haven't even had any time to relax together. The boys are thrilled that he is home. I was worried that Isaiah would forget who he was and not want anything to do with him, boy was I wrong! He has turned into a HUGE daddy's boy and mostly only wants him. I must admit, I was a little sad. Zachary has been a daddy's boy for a while now, and nothing has changed. They missed having someone to wrestle with, and I missed listening to the laughter that hap pend when they are playing together. All is well now!

We got the computer back and they were able to recover all the files that were lost! Praise God! I didn't realize how many pictures that I have on the computer. It is now backed up and I am sending all the photos to Walgeens to be stored and and copying them to disks. This will take a while but it will be well worth it!

We found a great housing program for military families that might fix the housing situation completely! This program will buy your house, pay off your mortgage completely, if you can not sell after 3 months and have been ordered to PCS! This will be such a huge blessing for us if all works out. We will not make any money off of it, but we will not lose as much as if we would have to wait for it to sell on our own. With this housing market, it could be a year before we sell. With the unpredictability of the Army, we have decided to rent in CA until we get a more permanent placement. We could still have to move 2 more times before Cesar's career is over and we don't want to be in the same situation that we are here. This is a huge blessing for us and proof that God answers prayers!

We went to see Bella Ann yesterday so that Zachary and Isaiah could meet her face to face. Zachary is so sweet with babies. He held her and loved on her and kissed her a few times, then it was off to the Wii! He and Bradley Dylan hadn't been able to play together for a while so it was nice for them. Brady was asleep the whole time we were there. :( Isaiah wanted to carry Bella around the room himself! It was a little scary at first. He sat in the chair and wanted me to put her in his lap. I did, for about a second and then he was done. I am scared for Noah! I dressed her up and posed her on the couch for a photo shoot. She is beautiful of course!

This is a little all over the place but I want to get this all down while I have the chance, Isaiah is napping and Z isn't home yet! Enjoy the pictures!

Bella's Pictures

Introducing Bella Ann!

My BEAUTIFUL niece, Bella Ann, was born Saturday at 11:40 am. She is absolutely breathtaking to look at. She weighed 7 pounds and was 18.5 inches long. I love her so much. She got to come home today, and her big brothers took to her right away. My mom says that Brady even tried to climb into the bassinet with her. We are heading up to Shelbyville tomorrow so she can meet her big cousins and I will have plenty of pictures from that! Enjoy these pictures of the diva! She is going to be so spolied! Cesar is thanking God we have all boys or he would be broke!

It's been awhile! (Long post)

Ok so it's been a few weeks since I last posted. A lot is going on here in the Sanchez household. We are gearing up for the big move to California on March 17th. There is a lot to prepare for an Army move. You must first go to a transportation briefing, then they schedule a date for the movers to come and then you are gone. We are waiting on a date, should have one after the briefing on Tuesday. The last day my OB wants me to travel is the 17th so the boys and I are heading out then. Cesar's dad will fly in on that Friday the 20th, help pack up the rest of the house, the things we need now, and then they will drive the Uhaul out on Monday the 23rd. The plan is for Cesar to make it to CA by the 26th which is when I have my first OB appointment out there. Zachary's new school is year round, and they happen to be on Spring Break until the 30th of March so he will get a few days to get settled before having to start school. We plan on heading to Disneyland on the 27th for a family fun day, I can't wait!

Before we leave we are doing a big birthday party for Z at Chuck E Cheese on the 14th! I can not believe he will be 7, where does the time go? We wanted to do something big right before we leave so we can get the chance to see everyone.

What we need now is a miracle, we need this house to sell ASAP. This is the worse time for that I know, but I am a believer! Please pray for a quick sell, I need it more than you know!

On top of all that, my computer crashed and I lost all my pictures. It is at a computer place trying to get them recovered. I am crossing my fingers. Not only did I loose a lot of pictures, Cesar lost almost all of his Army information. Things from the beginning of his career. It has been a little stressful here at the Sanchez house, but we are getting through it! I am not posting any pictures until we get a better back up drive. I refuse to store them on the laptop until Cesar assures me they will be fine. I will be a lot better about backing things up, that's for sure. I am so glad I started this blog, at least I have a lot of pictures stored on here!

So, if you made it all the way to the end, I will keep updating you on the move. I will post some pictures of the party, and if you are free on the 14th, meet us at Chuck's place, we would love to see you before we leave!

Looks like we are headed to sunny CA!

Well ladies and gentlemen, we are moving the Sanchez Family once again. This time we will be headed back to California where Cesar will be recruiting for the Army. We got a temporary report date yesterday and should have "official" orders by Friday the 27th. Then we can call transportation and set up a time for them to come pack up the house. We are in a little bit of a hurry due to Noah's arrival and my ability to travel. It looks like we will be heading out there around the 15th of March. There is a lot to be done here at home in the next few weeks. The house needs to be put on the market, doctors need to be found in Ca, records requested here ect... I am asking for prayers for a quick sell of the house, safe travel, a quick adjustment for Zachary and Isaiah and a healthy arrival of Noah. The good thing is I can still update the blog from anywhere so I will keep you posted!

18 months!

I am late on this I know, but we were in California when he turned 18th months! We have not had an 18th month check up yet, we are scheduled next Thursday so I will give you the stats then. I am sure he is growing just fine!

He is into everything. He is growing so fast, right before my eyes it seems. He is finally starting to talk. I still think he is behind, but it is a lot better than 15 months. He now wakes up and yells for mama. It melts my heart. He climbs on everything, the kitchen table, the end table, the gate, the chairs, Z's bed ect... He has broken one lamp so far, I am sure there will be more. He loves his brother and wants to do everything he does. He is a pretty good eater, loves any kind of fruit. He just started dipping food. He is not a big fan of ketchup, but wants it if Zachry has it. He likes to tease the dogs and barks like one. That is his only animal noise. He can build with blocks a 2 block tower. He can hit a baseball off the tee. He throws really well. He uses both hands to eat and throw. He loves balls, any size or shape. He is attached to his blanket and paci still. His favortie show is Handy Manny and the Backyardigans. He loves to dance and it's really funny when he does. He signs more and now says it too. He watches everything you do and repeats most of it. I caught him trying to cut his toenails with the clippers the other day!

I am sure I have missed a lot of his skills. He is so special to us. I can't imange my life without him. I always thought I would have a house full of little girls but now I can not imange my life without my boys! Isaiah you are the best little thing and Mommy and Daddy love you more and more each day. We can not wait to see what you do next. I know you will accomplish lots of great things! love you bunches baby!

Valentine Day pictures from California

Trip to CA!

We got back from California yesterday after a long day of flying! We had a great time out there. The kids were spoiled by the grandparents and they got to play with their cousins that they usually don't get to see. I took some pictures, not as many as I would like. The big boys are hard to catch on camera! Isaiah did pretty well out there. He slept ok, the time change really got him. Some mornings he was up at 4:30 CA time. It made for a tired mommy. I also had to rock him to sleep, something I don't do here at home. He has a hard time falling asleep anywhere but home. He slept ok once he was asleep though. We also shared a room, something that is hard on mommy! Zachary, of course, took to the time change and everything else like a champ. He always does. He is my go with the flow baby, or big boy. I got to have a girls day with my sister in law and we spent Valentine's Day with the kids since we were both without our sweethearts. It was a fun filled night at McDonalds and then this frozen yogurt place that was great! I can not wait to go back there again. Enjoy all the pictures!

Not About Me Tuesday

Tuesday's Tribute
Yet Another Jay and Deb Production.

Here is my first entry on Tuesday for Not all about Me! Today I would like to thank my California Family. I just came back from a week long trip to see Cesar's side of the family and to let the boys be spoiled by the grandparents! It was really nice. It was a great break for mom, who desperately needed one with Cesar gone. My sister in law treated me to a pedicure and manicure and a girls day on Monday and I will be forever grateful! It was so nice to spend the day with another grown up and no kids! My mother and father in law cooked great meals and loved on the boys the whole time. They also gave me a surprise shower for Noah while I was there. It is so nice to have such a wonderful family! Thanks to you all!

I won again!!

I must admit, I am addicted to blog givaways! I have 3 great blog buttons on my sidebar of blogs that have great child related giveaways. I enter all of them. Right before Christmas I won a gift certificate to a great little etsy shop and got Isaiah a cute little Christmas shirt. I am ordering the boys big brother/little brother shirts from her also!

Well this morning when I opened my email, I had won again! I won a $40 gift certificate to a place called Bubblecakes! They have all sorts of personalized blankets for babies. I am so excitied, I am getting the sock monkey one for Noah!

I love surprises like that when you open you email. If you have time, be sure to check out all the great giveaways on Frugal Mommy of 2 Girls's blog, they are great!

More Ice Pictures

I know the song is cheesy, but it made me laugh! You can turn it off by clicking the megaphone looking button at the top!

Ice Drama!

Hello from the land of the frozen! Just a quick Ice Storm 2009 update: We lost our power yesterday from about 9 in the morning until around 6 last night. I am so thankful that it was not longer! God Bless the linemen who are working so hard to keep us all safe and warm in our homes! We headed up to moms because they had a generator but my little munchkin would not sleep and so around 9 I threw in the towel and headed home. We woke up this morning to power and HEAT, it was great. Our water was shut off around 11 due to minimal power at the water plants. My wonderful neighbor headed out and got us some bottled water for the time being. The water is on for now, it is being rationed until further notice and we are under a boil water advisory. I filled up the bathtub in case of another water shortage and we are ready for anything! I am running the dishwasher now to make sure all the sippy's are clean and we have plenty of paper plates, napkins and cups to last. I really don't cook so not being able to wash dishes is not a big deal here! I know that is what those who know me well are saying! I have some pictures, but I wanted to take a few more before I posted them.

No school again tomorrow! Zachary has only been once this week. They are taking some of the make up days away and we will now be in school until the end of May. We already have plans for the make up days so Zachary will be missing them anyway. We are heading to SUNNY CALIFORNIA! The possibility of moving there to recruit looks favorable and let me tell you, after this week, count me in! My mother-on-law said it was 72 and sunny today. I am jealous! I will be posting the pictures later tonight. I want my husband to see what he is missing here, being stuck in the house with all of us.

Pictures for Daddy

We miss daddy!

Cesar has been gone two weeks and 2 days now and you would think he has been gone for a year. It is miserable here with out him. Zachary needs someone to wrestle with and so does Isaiah. I need someone to talk to and cuddle with, the body pillow just isn't cutting it. I took some pictures today of the boys for him to see. Zachary is of course doing his new favorite thing, playing the DS and Isaiah is getting into everything. Isaiah loves to throw the balls behind the tv and then get under the tv to get them out. He usually hits his head, cries, and then does it again. He found the hand pump to blow up his ball put and tried to do it himself today. He watches everything! He climbs up the slide, slides down backwards, he is a mess!

The pictures are for you daddy, we miss you bunches!

The broken lamp

Destructo!

We lovingly call Isaiah, Mr. Destructo. Here are a few pictures of why we do. The other day, he threw a ball at the lamp in the living room and broke it. He did say, "uh oh" right after. Now that the lamp has been removed from the table, he now climbs on the table and turns the light switches on and off! I don't know what I am going to do with him!

Ice Pictures!

Ice, Ice and more Ice!

This morning we woke up to 3 inches of ice on the ground this morning and no school. It covered everything! We stayed in the house all day and hung out in our pajamas. I like some days like this but with Cesar gone, I think I might pull my hair out! They have already closed school tomorrow, pray for me!

Noah's Second Pictures!

Update on Noah!

Went to the doctor today and the placenta has moved! This is a good thing, and means we can go ahead with plannin on a vaginal birth! Right now they say he is in the breech position, but that he has plenty of time to turn head down. We will be having a talk, I DO NOT want to have a C-section. I really don't have the time for one with Isaiah waiting for me at home! I had some more pictures, so enjoy!

Prayers and good thoughts please!

As many of you know Cesar is away at recruiting school in SC. I am a total believer in the power of prayer so I am asking for yours. Please pray that we get an assignment while he is there. The not knowing what is going to happen is hard on us both, but more so on him. We would LOVE for this assignment to come soon, so that wherever we have to go, we can get there BEFORE Noah makes his grand entrance into the world. He should return on the 27th of February, in plenty of time for the baby!

Like father, like son!

The other day, before Cesar left, we headed to Louisville to go to Sams. I am driving, like always. I look back and my little boy is fast asleep. He looks so sweet. I then look over and my husband is also fast asleep! For those of you who know him well, this will come as no surprise! I thought these pictures were cute!

Zachary's 2nd Report Card

WOW! I have been blessed with one smart little boy! I am so thankful that he loves school and learning and does so well. It seems to come very natural for him. He got his 2nd report card on Friday and he got mostly E's! He got a couple of S's and one MP in writing. My mom says she will send his teacher a sample of my dad's writing and maybe the teacher will understand where Zachary gets it! He has mastered all 500 2nd grade sight words, he is only in 1st grade, and his reading computer score was 3.08! His math computer score was 3.36, both of these are the 3rd grade level! I only hope he continues to be challenged. Today he came home with the super star student award. We are SO proud of him!

Not my best day

My husband left today for 6 weeks! This is not the first time he has been gone, nor will it be the last I am sure. This is what I married into when I married a soldier. That doesn't mean that it doesn't stink! It was a lot harder on me today than it has been in the past. I am not sure if it is hormonal or what. I will be posting a lot more with a lot of pictures for him to see while he is gone.

If you are reading this tonight my love know that you are missed already. Be sure to check back tomorrow for pictures of your boys! Love you

Isaiah's new toy!

Present from Grandma

For Christmas Grandma got Isaiah a blow up ball pit with a football goal post on it. It is the cutest thing and we finally blew it up yesterday. It took him all of 5 minutes to have it upside down and climbing on it backwards! He is such a destructive little thing! He loves it to say the least. I wanted to post some pictures of him playing with it for Grandma and Papa to see!

Daddy's Birthday Pictures!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Today my wonderful husband turns yet another year older. We had a pretty uneventful day. He took Pancho to the vet, where we learned we are feeding him WAY to much. Then we ran to Sams to stock up on some stuff since he is leaving on Sunday for 6 weeks. I love birthdays. That actually might be an understatement. I love that there in one whole day that is yours alone, to do whatever you like. I try to make all the boys in my house feel special on their day. This morning when I woke Z up for school he ran in and first thing, told his daddy Happy Birthday. When the little monster woke up we gave Cesar a dog that had a recordable chip in it with the boys telling him they loved him. It is for him to take with him to Ft. Jackson. The boys got little ones that match to keep here while he is gone. I gave him a watch to replace the one that just broke, a picture key chain to have the boys close while he is gone, and a Nintendo DS to match Z's. He was really excited and it was so nice to see. Cesar works so hard for us everyday. He goes to a civilian job that he hates just to make sure we are provided for. Most people would say that is his responsibility and to a point it is, but there are many men out there who do not take care of their responsibilities and I am blessed to be married to one that does. He said to me today that he didn't think he deserved the presents, he couldn't be more wrong! He deserves that and much more! He is an amazing husband and father and I thank God everyday we were in the same place at the same time a few years ago.

Happy Birthday the love of my life! You are the best thing that has ever happened to me and I thank God for you everyday!

Thanks Uncle Roman and Aunt Erin!

Isaiah loved the packing peanuts that came in Uncle Roman's and Aunt Erin's Christmas box!
