OUTNUMBERED AND LOVING IT

Welcome to the Sanchez Family. We are a God loving, church going, unconditional loving, Army family of three wild and crazy boys and one 100 pound english bulldog, taking it one day at a time. I'm the mom, the only girl in the house, and the Queen. Hang on tight, it's sure to be a wild ride!

My first week at home alone and a new car!

Today starts my first week at home with no help! My mom left on Saturday and Cesar went to work today. So far so good. I got Z to school on time, and now both the little ones are sleeping and I am trying to update the blog. I have dinner on the stove and the laundry started. The only hard thing about today is that for Zachary's school Tuesday's are minimum days, which means he gets out of school every Tuesday at 12:48, right in the middle of Isaiah's nap. I am fortunate to have my mother in law live right around the corner and she is going to pick him up today. It saves me from having to wake up a toddler to early then having to deal with him later when he is over tired!

Noah is doing great, gaining weight and eating like a pig. He is a pretty good sleeper, only getting up 2 to 3 times a night to eat and then going right back to sleep. Much better than Isaiah, even now! For that I am thankful. He is a pretty content baby too. Good thing, his middle brother demands a lot of attention! Isaiah is having a rough time. He is really getting mean lately. He hits and bites Zachary and EVERYTHING is his. He says "no" and "mine" all day long. My doctor says that this will last for about 4 months and then he should be adjusted and back to normal. He will be lucky if he makes it 4 months! I feel bad for Z, he just puts up with it and goes on. I am so blessed to have a child like him, easy going and super helpful! We are still trying to get into some sort of routine, it is so important for me. I love routines! I am sure it will come, I know I need to be patient!

I have been really missing my grandfather lately. He has really been on my mind a lot the past couple of days. I think it's because I really wish he could have been here to see Noah, I know he is seeing him from above. I just wanted to have him hold him and here him tell me and gran what a "dandy" he is. So I dressed Noah in his baseball outfit yesterday and had a good cry. I felt much better after that. Later that evening when I was watching a movie with Z the song "Put me in coach" came on and that's when I knew Granddaddy was right there, smiling down saying what a "dandy" Noah was.

We had been using my brother in law's car since we got here and they needed it back so we went yesterday to try to find a van. We got a great deal on a Dodge Caravan and brought it home yesterday! I love the van. I will post some pictures of it later, I haven't had a chance to take any yet!
