OUTNUMBERED AND LOVING IT

Welcome to the Sanchez Family. We are a God loving, church going, unconditional loving, Army family of three wild and crazy boys and one 100 pound english bulldog, taking it one day at a time. I'm the mom, the only girl in the house, and the Queen. Hang on tight, it's sure to be a wild ride!

College Photos

Trick or Treat at the College

The college in Shelbyville always does a free trick or treat night for the community every year. We have been going since the beginning and this year was no different. We seemed to have a Star Wars theme going, except for Isaiah, who was the honey pot from Winnie the Pooh. The boys had a great time and got lots of candy! Of course any time spent with Nana and Grandpa is always fun!

Zachary's Report Card

Friday Zachary got his first, 1st Grade report card! He did excellent. He got mostly E's (excellent) and a few S's (successful). He did get one MP (making progress) in handwriting, but that's because he doesn't take his time and is a little messy. I think he gets that from me, I remember having to write a paper over and over in 5th grade because it was messy. His reading score was a 3.04 which means he reads at a 3rd grade level and his math score was a 3.6 also 3rd grade level! I am so proud of him for working so hard in school! Way to go Z!

Doctor Update!

Sorry it's so late!! I went to the OB last Tuesday to hear the heartbeat and have a quick check up and everything is great. The heartbeat sounded good and strong and everything else looks good too. I am 14 weeks with a due date of April 19th as of now. I go back November 11th and then he will schedule the ultrasound! Think PINK for me please!! I will do better about posting that time, I promise!!

Saturday's Football Pics

Isaiah's new trick!

We must now put a onsie or pants on Isaiah all the time now. He now likes to pull his diaper down from the back and look like he is sagging! It's cute, at least I think so, but it could be hazardous!

Random Pics from the week!

Fall Break Family Time

This week was Zachary's fall break from school. He stayed at Nana's for a couple of days with Bradley Dylan and got to do whatever they wanted. I picked him up Monday, much to his disappointment, and Bradley Dylan's. On Tuesday Cesar was off and our plan was to go pick pumpkins. We got everything loaded up and went to a park in town to have a picnic. Right after we ate, the rain came!! We loaded up and decided to go to Baskin Robbins instead! Pumpkins will have to wait for another day! Friday we met Kel and the boys, Nana too, to build a bear at the Summitt. We had lunch and then headed to Target for a little while. The parting was sad, once again, no one ever wants to leave Nana!

More Football and luch at Mike Linnings!

Saturday was another football game for Zachary. They are getting so good. It is a lot of fun to go out and watch them. Cesar is such a great coach and he loves doing it. Kelly and the boys got to come down and watch and they had a great time. After football we went to Mike Linnings for a great fish lunch. It is the best place to eat! Zachary is on fall break this week so he went home with Nana and Grandpa for a couple of days of being spoiled rotten! We are going to pick pumpkins tomorrow since Cesar is off work. I will be sure to post the pictures!

My Bradley the Wild Man!

Bradley Dylan!

Today after the doctor we met Kelly and the boys for lunch. While we were playing Bradley Dylan got on his big wheel and told me he wanted to "peel out". Well he did and it was so darn cute I videoed it on my phone! He is the cutest little thing out there! Such a wild man, but I promise you there isn't a little boy funnier than my Bradley!

The rest of the haircut pictures!

A long post with lots of firsts!

It's been awhile since I have posted and a lot has happened! Zachary had his first football game a couple of weeks ago and his second one last week. He did great and he loved it. He is really good if I do say so myself. He tries so hard to get the other little boys flag and when it is his turn to run, he runs his heart out. Cesar is the coach and it is so nice to see him out there with Zachary every Saturday.

Isaiah got his first haircut a couple of weeks ago too. It was just a little trim around the ears. I didn't want them to cut his curls off just yet. We went to Cookie Cutters and he got to watch the Backyardigans so he was thrilled!

Isaiah also got his first big boo boo. He fell on the concrete and scraped up his face, his arm and his knee! Poor baby. I would take some pictures of it but I have misplaced my memory card!

I took Zachary to the doctor today and he has a severe double ear infection. Cesar and I had noticed that he was having a hard time hearing us. At first we thought it was just boys being boys but we decided to have it checked out. Well we were wrong, he really can't hear us. The doctor said she doesn't understand why he isn't in a lot of pain, but he isn't. She put him on antibiotics and wants to recheck in a month to make sure there is no permanent damage to his hearing. Please say a little prayer that everything turns out ok when we have the recheck.

I think that is the only update for now! Enjoy the pictures of the football game and the first haircut!

One more time!!

Just wanted to let everyone know that Cesar and I are expecting a new baby here in the Sanchez household! I am 11 weeks pregnant and so far so good. I have had one doctor's appointment and he says everything looks great. I go back on the 14th of October and we are hoping to hear the hearbeat then. I am really tired, but other than that I feel great. I think the tiredness has a lot to do with Isiaiah!! The timing is not quite what we had planned but we are really happy. Think PINK thoughts for me please!!

Also, Kelly is also expecting! We thought we would do this one more time together!! We are a month apart, she is due March 20th and mine is April 19th!

Just bragging on Zachary!

I started to write this about 3 times and thought, no one wants to hear how great you think your son is. Then I thought, it's my blog and if I want to tell you how great I think he is than I will! :)

Zachary started first grade this year and he is doing really well. He was bringing home some homework that Cesar and I though was just too easy for him. I was going into school to talk to the teacher when we got a note home saying that they were switching Zachary into the first/second grade split class. We were so happy for that. He is being taught the second grade curriculum but is still technically in first grade! He is getting homework that is harder and is challenging him.

My question to all you teachers....Jodie, Beth, Jessica......if Zachary is being taught the second grade curriculum now what will happen next year to him? My concern is that he will be bored next year. His teacher explained to me that there is only 6 first graders in her class and the rest are second so it makes more sense to teach the second grade materials.

Isaiah's Spanish!

Cesar talks a lot to Isaiah in spanish, and when we lived in California, Grandma taught Zachary quite a bit also. My spanish is limited, but I am learning quick! I have been trying to ask Isaiah for kisses for a while now and he will never kiss me. I finally found the reason why, he will only kiss you when you ask him in spanish. Cesar asks him for besitos, which translates to "little kisses". Of course, every time I try to video tape it, he won't do it. He finally did it today for his brother and his daddy, but not his mommy! Little stinker!

Why buy toys!?

Isaiah has a room full of toys. Everything you can imange he owns, but, does he play with them? Of course not, he plays with a ball and three empty boxes! If I would have known that these items would have entertained him for 20 minutes, I could have saved a lot of money!!

Pirate Pictures

A Pirate Party!

Today Zachary was invited to a friends birthday down the street. The theme was Pirate's and it was really cool. They had bandannas, beads, gold coins, and lots of other booty there. The boys all got their bandannas and eye patches and took a picture. It was a lot of fun. There was a water slide and a bounce house for the kids to play on also.

Zoo pictures

A trip to the Zoo!

Today while Zachary was in school Isaiah and I decided to head to the zoo. It was a little warm, but we got there early and left before it got too hot. He really had a good time looking at all the animals and barking. I got to work on animal sounds! We got to see them feeding the Bengal Tiger, that was my first time and it was really cool! Enjoy the pictures!

Isaiah's 1st Birthday pictures!

We went to Sears today to have Isaiah's first birthday pictures made. I hate that I don't get the pictures right away but I LOVE the lady who takes the pictures so I will continue to go there!

We also took some family pictures today. The last time we had one done it was when Isaiah was 2 months old! I will have to post them on the 9th when I pick them up.

Picture's of the second party!

Birthday's birthday's!

Zachary's friend who lives down the street not only shares the same name as my little one, Isaiah, but the same birthday too! So on the 17th, we headed to Gatti's for a birthday party for him. It was a lot of fun. Zachary and Isaiah have become the best of friends and it is so nice. They are like two peas in a pod. They are on the same football team, go to the same school, and are about the same size. As Zachary says, "If you weren't so tan Isaiah, we would be like twins!" It has been great having someone so nice live so close!

The best gift ever!

Thank You Grandma!!!

For Isaiah's birthday, Cesar's mom, Grandma got him the Fisher Price Laugh and Learn House! He LOVES it! He could spend almost all day playing on it. It has a light switch that turns on and off and a window that goes up and down. It has enough things on it to keep him busy for at least 15 minutes, that's like 15 hours in baby time!! We are thinking of adding the Laugh and Learn Kitchen to it. I might even get a half hour to get some things done!

1st Birthday Pictures

Happy 1st Birthday Isaiah!

One whole year, it's hard to believe. He has grown so much and changes everyday. It had been a long time since there was a little baby in the house and now I can't imagine a day without him here. He is the busiest little boy I have ever met and he keeps me on my toes. I shouldn't complain, it sure helped me lose the baby weight quick!

Things Isaiah is doing now at 1:
*walks
*eats anything you give him
*says "woof" when he sees or hears a dog
*says "bubu" for brother whenever he sees Z
*loves his blankie
*goes to sleep by himself now
*drinks whole milk
*drinks out of a sippy
*is down to 1 bottle a day!!

I am sure there is a lot more, I just can't think to list them all.
Happy Birthday my sweet boy! We all love you bunches!

1s Birthday Pictures!

Isaiah's 1st Birthday Party!

On Saturday we had Isaiah's first birthday party at our house. We went with the surfing/beach theme. It was really nice. We rented a water slide, and had some blow up pools and sand boxes. My family came and it was great to have our California family here too. We grilled out hamburgers and hotdogs and Kelly made Isaiah's personal cake! I hope you enjoy all the pictures!

Grandma, Papa and Dina arrive in pictures!

Grandma, Papa and Dina arrive!

On Wednesday night Cesar's parents arrived from California for Isaiah's first birthday party. It is so nice to have both sets of his grandparents here for the big event! Zachary was thrilled to have them here and was sad to have to go to school while they were here! Here are a few pictures of the boys waiting for them to arrive and the first night with them here. We have been enjoying great food and even better company while they are here and will be sad to see them go tomorrow.

Baseball Pictures and a Pool Party

The American Legion Hall of Fame

During the American Legion State Tournament in Bowling Green they inducted my Grandfather into the Hall of Fame. This was the first class they ever inducted and he was the very first member. We were all there to see it and it was very nice, although sad in a way. We were also invited into a birthday party at the pool. It was a lot of fun. It was a Hannah Montana theme and she got lots of Hannah Montana stuff to go along with it.
