I LOVE Halloween! It is seriously one of my most favorite holidays. Cesar and I even postponed our honeymoon so we, well I, wouldn't miss it! Back in KY we would get together have chili, cracker barrel cheese, bologna and fun! My favorite part is handing out the candy to the kids, I love to see all the great costumes that they are wearing! Here is CA we have tried 3 different things. The first year we hosted a Halloween party at our house and that was a lot of fun. Last year we headed over to our church for the trunk or treat, totally chaotic! We won't be doing that again. This year we headed over to our friends house for pizza, desserts and fun! I think the boys loved every minute of it and I did too! I am blessed to have a great friend out here who totally gets me and loves my boys. By totally gets me I mean knows that I don't cook, and I am not crafty but I am great company!
We had a Star Wars theme gong on in the house this year, Noah loves Yoda, so light sabers and guns were on the agenda!

I love this lady! I am so thankful God put her in my life out here in CA!
On a side note, I did attempt to make dessert to take over to our Halloween party, one thing turned out great and the other, well not so great. I am sure Sarah is blogging about my brownies here. With friends like these who needs enemies!! :) |
